Meet Dr Brady Bonner
Orthopaedic Surgeon - Trauma, Hip & Knee Specialist
Dr Brady Bonner has completed his orthopaedic training in Queensland. He has a special interest in orthopaedic trauma, hip and knee arthroplasty, and the management of complex musculoskeletal injuries. He is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centred care, helping patients regain function and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Dr Bonner was born in Toowoomba, and has strong ties to regional Queensland. He spent his early years in Blackall, before completing his schooling in Stanthorpe as a 6th generation Granite Belt local. He later moved to Brisbane to study medicine at the University of Queensland. He subsequently completed a post-graduate Master of Trauma (Orthopaedics) through the University of Newcastle before undertaking specialist orthopaedic training with the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA).
Throughout his career, Dr Bonner has gained broad experience across many of Queensland's leading hospitals. This diverse training has provided extensive experience in the management of both elective orthopaedic conditions and complex trauma.
Dr Bonner has a particular interest in orthopaedic trauma, and hip and knee replacement surgery. He believes in combining contemporary surgical techniques with clear communication and a collaborative approach to ensure each patient receives individualised care tailored to their goals and lifestyle.
Having returned to the Darling Downs, Dr Bonner is proud to care for patients in the region where his own story began. He is committed to delivering high-quality orthopaedic care close to home and to supporting the ongoing development of orthopaedic services for regional Queensland.
