Cryotherapy & RE3 Knee Brace
What is Cryotherapy?
"Cryotherapy" (or Icing) is the intentional reduction of temperature of an injury site. Consistent & repeated application of cryotherapy has been scientifically proven to promote healing, by reducing pain and swelling. For it to be effective, you must be able to reduce the injury site down to a temperature range of 10-13 degrees Celsius.
RE3 delivers consistent & simultaneous cold and compression. Its flexible form ensures maximum surface area contact, providing that therapeutic relief precisely where you need it.
Using the RE3 Cryosleeve for Post-Surgical Recovery
Ice and compression are two essential components in reducing swelling and speeding up recovery after knee surgery. The RE3 Cryosleeve combines both therapies into one simple, effective device, delivering targeted cryotherapy during your recovery.
How to Use the RE3 Cryosleeve
The RE3 sleeve is designed for comfort and ease of use. Cryotherapy should never feel painful or overly cold.
If the cold becomes uncomfortable:
Take a break for around 30 minutes.
Reapply with a fresh cold insert as needed.
In most cases, the sleeve can be left on throughout the day, with the cooling insert swapped every few hours to maintain its effectiveness.
